Perhaps the reason why we do not seek to deploy our personal vision is that it does not feed us directly. In fact, it takes quite a bit of time to materialize.
So we seek the byproducts of vision directly. We go after money, fame, fortune, treasures in a bid to "make it in life". Making it in life is not the most insightful thing for the human.
